Our classes varying from infrared heading 26 ° to 36 °, but why? Even though exercising hot yoga is an extra challenge, you can relax and unwind even more. Hot yoga promotes your strength and flexibility and provides oxygen-rich blood.

You sweat more, which means your body has to work harder to regulate your body temperature and your heart has to pump more blood. Your heart, lungs and muscles work harder and your metabolism gets an extra boost and it certainly will give you that yoga glow.

NEW TO (EQUAL) YOGA?

If you are stepping onto the yoga mat for the first time, no need to worry. Our beginner-friendly environment provides a reassuring space for you to explore your yoga journey at your own pace. We recommend trying out the Core Flow and Hot Fusion classes if you are new to yoga, which allow you to build a strong foundation for your practice. Our Equal Yin classes are suitable for all levels as well.

Hot Fusion 36°C

The Hot Fusion classes are a one-hour, fixed sequence of classic hot yoga poses, at 36 degrees, mixed with vinyasa flow. In this class, you will hold poses for a few cycles of breath to sink into the pose and gain strength, enhance flexibility, and increase your heart rate. Use the time in a pose to find ease in the effort, to turn off the mind, and to challenge yourself and your practice. The use of a fixed sequence for this class allows you to become familiar with poses and transitions which can help you establish a routine and deepen your understanding of each posture over time. Hot Fusion is a good class for beginners to gain strength and build on poses, moving at a moderate pace without music. For advanced yogis, there are options to deepen poses to challenge and strengthen, because the sequence is the same always, it is easy to track your progress. Don’t underestimate the heat and the strength you need, to be in a pose for a longer time, you will leave the class strong, warm, and sweaty.

Equal Barre is a modern version of classic ballet training. Our musically driven group classes focus on low-impact, high-intensity movements that strengthen and tone your body at 26 degrees. Equal Barre improves strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance. Equal’s Strong Flow class is a challenging yet invigorating class that combines strength, balance, and flow linked together with breath. This intense sequence will challenge your focus, fire up your core, and build arm and shoulder strength. Strong Flow builds on Core Flow and Core Power by adding optional advanced poses like side crow and splits. Naturally, there will be modifications of these poses so everyone can explore and experience the sequence at their own pace. The emphasis is on personal exploration and growth, prioritizing effort over perfection. This class fosters a playful atmosphere where you can explore, and get into your body and out of your mind, leaving you feeling empowered on and off the mat.

At a comfortable 30 degrees Celsius, Core Flow invites you to explore the natural connection between breath and motion. Led at a moderate pace, it allows you to flow from one pose to the next offering a full-body workout.

    Consider this class the next step up from Core Flow; Core Power classes offer a space to explore and deepen one's practice. Our Core Power sequence integrates flow, strength, and extensive core work. The sequence cultivates energy and intensity, appealing to those seeking a dynamic practice focused on power.
    Designed for all levels, Core Power encourages students to tune into their bodies and find balance between effort and ease, finding your own challenge. Expect shoulder and core strengthening, dynamic flows, and time to explore arm balances. Here we emphasize plank variations and introductory arm balances like crow pose (including deeper challenges like jump-backs and new transitions). Beginners are welcome, with modifications and accommodations always available for challenging poses and for injuries, particularly those affecting shoulders and wrists.

    Equal Yin 26°C

    Slow down with our Equal Yin classes. This class uses long holds to target tight spots and  connective tissues in the body. Think 3, 4 or even 5 minutes in a posture. Stressing, stretching and opening up targeted areas of your body, also focussing on on the meditative side of yoga. Perfect for both beginners and advanced yogis to balance out your stronger practice.
