At a young age Kim went to the National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam. After several years she decided to stop dancing because of injuries, went to the Art Academy and developed a career as a Graphic and Textile designer. The passion for dance never went away and after a while sitting behind a desk, she started to miss the physical movement desperately. She started to look around and ended up in a yoga practice by coincidence. From that day she fell in love with it. Yoga became part of her daily life right away and she practiced a lot of styles with many amazing teachers. To deepen her own practice she did a Vinyasa Teacher Training, but after completing she started to share it with others. In her classes she focuses on awareness of your own body, mind and breath, alignment and the magic of the movement.
